Children of Pokot Education
Made by the Pokot people of West Central Kenya. Brought to Springfield, IL by volunteers working with the Children of Pokot Education Fund C.O.P.E. SUCCESS, UNITY , DIVERSITY COPE provides two nutritious meals each day to each of the almost 700 students. COPE brings much needed medication to West Pokot, engages in health education, supplies some diagnostic procedures for ailments, & has a community nurse on staff.
